What I haven't mentioned is yet another fabulous movie I watched.

"A Face in the Crowd" directed by Elia Kazan and written by Budd Schulberg, and starring Andy Griffith and Patricia Neal.

Yes, you read that right, Andy Griffith. That Andy Griffith. This was done in 1957, and previously he had been doing other things, and hadn't been in front of a camera. Which is interesting, because it's about a natural talent embracing and being groomed for television, and political aspirations. It is an awesome film, as relevant today, as it was predictive in its time.

Watch it if you can, and I think a remake should be made. It didn't do too well in the box office when released, but has become a sleeper classic since.
