And once the New Year has come, I plan on throwing my house warming party. The second or third weekend of January. Haven't decided yet. I decided that it would be fun to have an at least once a year affair, and to start with the unit just as I bought it. So all I have to do is clean up, and a party we shall have. Next year the walls I am keeping will have been painted, and curtains changed, for sure, since I already own the curtains, and we will see what else I can afford in a year. Each year's party will reflect the unit's transformation. I am finding pictures of what I am thinking of transforming the unit into, but it will be fun for people to see the context from which it started and see where it is headed, both. So bulletin board up, and the pictures I have found up to show what I have in mind. What fun! I can throw an anniversary party for my place each year!

Third weekend in January seems to be the one, since I have other obligations other weekends. So now I have a deadline as to when my party will be, now I have an idea of how hard I must work to clean and straighten and magically create more space than I actually have. Right now I can easily seat four people in my living room. Just getting to the living room area is a problem.

I have a plan, I have something to look forward to, I have actions to take.

God, clawing oneself out of depression sure can be tedious, as tedious as checking each item off a never ending to-do list.

But finding joy in each day, finding things to be thankful for, and having things to look forward are ever so important to countermand all that.
